The top model of the Leica DISTO family was developed for both indoor and outdoor measuring. It is the first hand laser distance-measuring tool, which has an integrated digital viewfinder (3x zoom). With this invention measurements can be made in difficult lighting conditions and even if the laser dot is not visible. That brings new ways of possible measurements especially outdoors. Additionally the device has an integrated tilt sensor, which opens a much wider variety of indirect measurements. For simple inclination measurements the housing simply has to be held at the object.
